A Typical Day

9:45 A.M.

Arrival at Ferry Docks by Wheeltrans or TTC. Staff and
volunteers assist members with tickets and boarding the Ferry for a delightful 15 minute ride to Ward's Island.

10:00 A.M.

Arrival at Ward's Island - 2 Electric 8 seater vehicles
assist those unable to walk the short distance to the accesible building.

10:15 A.M.

Coffee/tea and cookies served by volunteers.

10:30 A.M.

Piano accompaniment for a spirited sing-song including our own camp songs like "It's a good time to get acquainted".

11:00 A.M.

Gentle Exercises

11:15 A.M.

Nature Walk or a stroll to see ducks and beautiful homes. A ride around the island for those unable to manage the short walk.

12:00 P.M.

Assemble back at the Centre for Lunch. Soup and tea provided by volunteers. Members bring their own sandwich.

1:00 P.M.

Craft time - different useful projects offered three times per session. Materials supplied by SCS. Members take their crafts home.

2:00 P.M.

Shuffleboard, line dancing, cards, word games, or just relaxing in the great outdoors. A cold drink is served just prior to departure
time.

3:30 P.M.

A fifteen minute Ferry ride back to the City. Staff waits with members until Wheeltrans pickup for trip home.
