From October to April each year, our programs are housed in St. Andrew’s United Church at Yonge and Bloor, located at 117 Bloor Street East.

When there is a chill in the air outside, participants can always find warmth and friendship, laughter and joy in our programs. New seniors are always welcome to drop in. The various day programs and classes at Yonge and Bloor are great ways for seniors to make new friends and find companionship in a fun and caring environment. The activities are geared to older adults of all abilities, and can range from games and gentle fitness to outings, festive holiday parties and nutritious hot lunches.

A typical day at St. Andrew’s: Seniors are singing their favourites such as “You Are My Sunshine” and “A Long Way to Tipperary”. Volunteers from the business community are baking with our seniors and they are listening to the seniors tell their stories. Our senior volunteers are baking apple pies for the other seniors with donated apples from one of our community supporters.
