The festival is an important part of Camp Sunshine, our day camp program offering social and recreational programs for seniors and persons with disabilities on Ward’s Island.

The day-long festival is an exciting day of community celebration, and features entertainment, a BBQ lunch, complete with homemade strawberry jam and strawberry treats prepared by seniors, staff and volunteers.
This year’s Strawberry Festival will be held on Saturday, July 16th, 2011 at Camp Sunshine on Ward’s Island. Please check back for more information on special entertainment and guests.

Our Seniors’ Pride Party honours seniors from the LGBT community and promotes a diverse, and vibrant community through a light-hearted day of food, rainbow- themed decorations and music. Everyone is welcome and rainbow coloured clothing is highly encouraged!
This year’s Seniors’ Pride Party takes place on Wednesday, June 29th, 2011 at Camp Sunshine on Ward Island. Call (416) 924-3979 or email sunshinecentres@on.aibn.com to RSVP and feel free to invite your friends and family to join in the fun.
